xHamster is launching our own cryptocurrency, but we simply couldn’t do that without asking our users and fans!

xHamster’s cryptocurrency will be an internal currency on xhamster.com. It’ll be available to mine through activities on the website — content uploads, favouriting content, comments, profile completion, any social activity on the website, and more!

Once you mine it, you`ll be able to spend this cryptocurrency on xhamster.com for the gifts and other xHamster perks.

Very interesting. I actually work in the cryptocurrency and blockchain field. But after reading the post I assume you will just launch a digital currency and not really a cryptocurrency. If it really is a cryptocurrency then I would really be interested in the technical realisation, because if this currency in that model should have any value as a currency (else it would not be a cryptocurrency) there are a lot of challenges to solve. Will you use a similar model to the steam it platform? Is everybody free to run a node or is it a consortium chain (if so who is in the consortium. What consensus system are you planing to use.

There are enough names to drop for this. - DigiCoins - Coin Wolves (Instead of Corn Wolves which is another title for a hamster) - NutBucks - ByteCoins - Sinders - Gemsters lol or just rupees But if you want it to sound like anything more similar as xcoins then I'd suggest you'd just call it "Cervix Coins" ;))
